Christmas Party, 9 December 2010
We had a really pleasant Christmas Party on 9 December at Howlett’s Restaurant in Chester. All told, we had about 20 members and spouses attend the event. The food was great, and the company of fellow Rotarians was better yet. After the meal, we ended the evening with an entertaining game of “Naughty Santa” or “Chinese Gift Exchange”, hosted by St. Nick’s younger, more handsome, and slightly evil brother, Dave Merritt. I think, overall, folks left with a gift with which they were happy. Most importantly, Jeff was able to distribute all the peanuts in his trunk to their rightful owners.
A special thank you to Rotarians David Hargrave and Nancy Vance for coordinating and setting up this event.
